Vanity Is Not A Sin Review:

I was extremely excited when I found these Australis Highlighting and Contouring Duos, I could barely contain my excitement. I purchased the Sun kissed Glimmer and Rosy Bronze. They were on sale for $3 each they normally retail for around $12.95. So I was also excited about the savings too as savings means, more money to spend on more products lol.

The duos come in adorable little black compacts with the Australis name written on it, when one opens the compact, inside you will find two compartments.

In the first compartment is a little brush which I am sure is made out of synthetic hair. When you flip that over in the seconded compartment is where you will find the products and a mirror. On the left side of the compact is the bronzer/contour powder and on the right is the blush/highlighter, just using your brush swirl it over the two products and when applying to your cheek bones make sure the bronzer/contour is down and the highlighter/blush is side up.

Fairer girls like myself tho do have to be careful when applying the bronzer/contour when I was applying it, it was just a little to dark for my skin tone so less is more with the bronzer/contour if you are fair but if you do find that it is a little to dark for your skin tone or you have applied to much product just simply get a big fluffy brush and blend it out a bit more. You can also apply some of the product underneath and just along your jaw to archive that defined jaw line.

The Sun kissed Glimmer duo can also be used as an eyeshadow with the highlighter applied to the eyelid and eyebrow areas and the bronzer applied to the crease, so it is one little compact but it can be used for a lot.

These duo compact do not have a scent to them and they have a really good staying power, They are a good size to pop into your handbag to use through out the day for a quick and easy freshen up after lunch, one thing I wish they did have tho is the name of the product on the bottom of the compact so you know what shade you are using but for those easily confused i.e myself just keep them in the cute little box they came in to remember their shades, they are perfect for summer to get that bronzed sun kissed look, like you have been on holidays to St Topaz.

Vanity Is Not A Sin Review:
What can I say about these lip glosses, I was a bit weary at first when I realised they were a plumping lip gloss, a minority of women do want full, pouty lips but so many are put off by the stinging and burning sensation that plumping lip glosses can cause, I am most certainly one of them, many times I have been unable to bear the burn from plumping lip glosses and have had to remove the product after a few minutes with no results at all other than red lips and smeared lip gloss after trying to get it off in a hurry with tears in my eyes from the burning sensation.

So you can see why I was a big hesitant to try these lip glosses, but to my pleasant surprise and much delight when I applied this product with hesitation I found that there was no burning stinging sensation on my lips at all, I was over delighted that I have found a lip gloss that does in deed plump the lips with no burning sensation, it is a little difficult to describe the sensation it definitely doesn't sting or burn but it does make your lips feel like they are becoming fuller and upon looking into the mirror to inspect my lips, they are a little fuller while you definitely won't be walking around looking like you just got collagen injections(trust me that's a good thing) you will have a slightly more pouty lips.

This lip gloss also has a long staying power it wont fade or disappear after a short period of time. They also have a lovely and pleasant scent, I would describe it to be very delicate and not over powering at all, you don't notice the scent once it is on your lips.

The colours are beautiful, you can put on a single coat for just a hint of colour or put on a little bit more for the true pop of colour. There is 10 gorgeous shades to choose from. I have two, I have "#3, L.A Nude and #4 Lust Me". I did not purchase these products at full price #4 Lust Me I brought a magazine and the lip gloss came with it (but really I just brought the magazine for the lip gloss) and #3 I received with my monthly Glossy box.

The product comes in a traditional lip gloss tube and they come with an Flexilip applicator, the product is the perfect size to pop into your every day handbag or your evening purse, the tube doesn't take up much space at all. You also get a lot of product with the tube sizing being 14gs. The products is a little on the pricey side at $39.95 but on the Mirenesse website at the time of writing this article and it being published they are offering 20% off their Mirenesse 3D Forever Lip gloss, So if you are looking for a plumping lip gloss with out the sting and the burning sensation than this lip gloss is most certain worth its price. I highly recommend it.

Vanity Is Not A Sin Review:
I was pleasantly surprised by these little balls of coca butter goodness, I will admit I was hesitant at first, mainly because I can not stand the smell of coca butter but just imagine my delight when I tried this product and fell in love with the scent straight away. It honestly reminds me of something from my childhood and it must be a good thing as I didn't drop it and run screaming away from it.

The formula is non greasy and non sticky and it doesn't make you feel like you are wear a ton of product either. The colour is very light while it might look bright and popping in the packaging it in fact only gives a hint of colour on your lips, which is great if you have never worn coloured lip cosmetics before and want to but are a little frighten of colour.

The packaging is absolutely adorable the way I describe it would be a little ball then when one opens the packaging inside you will find a generous amount of lip butter and a mirror. They are the perfect size and will fit into your bag or make up bag with out taking to much room, They are also smash proof I dropped mine within seconds of getting it out of the packet it fell to my vanity table with a very loud crack and I was sure that it would have broken but to my pleasant surprise it will still all intact and not broken. So it is a tough little thing.

I have two (2) of these lip butters one I purchased myself and one that I actually won in an Australis competition, I have "Brownie Points" which I purchased myself and "Tall Poppy" which I had won.

I really do recommend these products as they are a perfect lip butter to wear all year round in summer to protect our delicate lips from the harsh Australian sun and in Winter to protect against the freezing winds.
